Summary: Buy the 'large dogs' size and save
Comment: To save a bit of money, if you have small dogs, buy the 'large dog' then cut the pills.
We've been giving this to our dogs since... forever and, as far as I know, they never had a heartworm problem.
I believe that we are also saving by going with this brand. As far as the fancier, meat-flavored varieties... I can't see why one would pay a premium money for it. All we do is we crush the pill and mix it inside a meatball or something else that's delicious and the dogs eat them and keep asking for more.
I will continue to use this in the future.

Comment: I'm not sure why anyone would compare these heartworm pills to Frontline Plus, which is a very expensive liquid that you place onto a dogs back and is described as a "topical flea treatment (that) provides long-lasting, effective control against fleas, ticks, and chewing lice". However, putting that aside, these Valuheart pills compare well to Interceptor heartworm pills as far as ingredients, and after shipping, costs about the same.
